This underground transmission project has one (1) 6’x18 Switch pre-cast manholes, one (1) 6’x14’ Sidewalk Transformer Vault, Five (5) 6’x14” Roadway manholes, Five (5) 6’x12’ Roadway manholes and (6) 3.5’x3.5’ tapholes installed in the Southeast corridor of DC.
The work involved more than 10,000 cubic yards of soil excavated, over 7.5 miles of conduit installed in 1.2 miles of trench.
This project included contaminated soil disposal, rock excavation within at depths 8-25 feet deep. Featuring over 3,000 linear feet concrete conduit, Timber shoring wall supports within electric substations, and excavations 25 feet deep
