This underground transmission project included One (1) 6’x18 Switch pre-cast manholes, Seven (7) 6’x12’ Line manhole, Seven (7) 48”x72” Transformer Enclosures, and Three (3) 3.5’x3.5’ Tapholes installed in the Southeast corridor of DC and Maryland line.
The work involved more than 2,000 cubic yards of soil excavated, over 12 miles of conduit installed in 2 miles of trench.
This project included rock excavation within at depths 8-15 feet deep. Featuring over 11,000 linear feet concrete conduit, Timber shoring wall supports within electric substations, and excavations 15 feet deep.
