seal-and-overlay

Sealing & Overlay

United was contracted to seal the longitudinal butt joints between runs of newly applied asphalt. We applied polymerized joint adhesive to the edges of the road that will mate with the new asphalt to assure a strong, waterproof bond.

sealing-and-overlay

Sealing & Overlay

United was contracted to apply polymerized joint adhesive to the longitudinal butt joints. Joint adhesive ensures that adjacent pavement applications bond together as a single unit.

wall-sawing

Wall Sawing

United was contracted to saw cut openings for vents and utilities. The wall saw tracks for the vent openings had to be mounted to the piece to be removed because the walls could not be blemished. After the initial cuts were made with the wall saw, the corners were cut with a chain saw to prevent over-cuts.
